What We Do

Vocal for Retailers

The primary reason for the inception of AIMRA was to voice the growing concerns of the retailers PAN-India! Our Leadership Team has been at the forefront in highlighting the malpractices against our retailers at every important platform. During the Pandemic, AIMRA tweeted and wrote a letter to the Finance Minister of India for a moratorium. To safeguard the interest of the Mainline Retailers, with the support of CAIT, we were vocal on the online & media platforms to stop the online delivery during the lockdown. We have been immensely successful in highlighting our stand & in convincing the Government officials. We have also written to the Honourable Finance Minister to stop unfair and unethical business by online portals. We are regularly sending written communications to the honourable PM, HM, FM, CIM, MSME, CCI, DPIIT, RBI, NSA etc. With an appeal to safeguard the telecom industry, AIMRA National Leaders gave a memorandum to the Smt. Nirmala Seetharam, Minister of Finance & Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & industry on a few occasions.

Planning & Development

Team AIMRA believes in learning and sharing and in its efforts conducted regular training effective on use of technology, understanding of new government norms be it GST, Communication etc. to keep the moral high in tough times and fight in a professional manner. While the Pandemic is a period that has left everyone stressed, the AIMRA team recently introduced a motivational series ‘Leaders Life Journey’. People from our fraternity were selected who did something extraordinary to help someone in need in Covid-19 situations. This helped to motivate and keep the AIMRA family in a positive state of mind. GST videos were prepared to educate the mainline retailers of the tax implications. As AIMRA scaled to the online world, the state units took extra initiatives to educate the retailers about the right way of using social media platforms, joining online meetings and much more. Since the use of technology plays a pivotal role in today’s business ecosystem, adequate training is the only way the retailers can attain success & fight the online market.

Initiatives and achievements

Since its inception, AIMRA aims to connect every existing and new retailer with a plethora of nationwide initiatives and campaigns.
